This You Tube video allows you to journey through the Solar System and the wonders of modern astronomy. Teachers can use this video for their students to discover the scale and structure of the Solar System and find out why people explore it.

Classworks is a computer software that takes the information commonly found in textbooks and turns it into a fun and interactive lesson on the computer. This software allows each student to read through each lesson with audio and take each quiz at their own pace. The first part of the lesson includes reading though information with audio. The second part includes interactive activities based on the lesson. The last part includes a quiz for the students to take. It keeps records of each student’s grades and contains a list of other lesson material that they have already completed or still need to complete. The teacher can login to their own account on the software and obtain a list with each student’s grade on the assessments as well as the overall class average.

Google Images is great place for teachers to get images for subjects in any class. All pictures contained on this wikispace were retrieved from Google Images.

Kidspiration is a great tool for making mind maps with the ability to use pictures and color. Students can turn their creations into an outline that they can print or use to study from. This can assist them with assignments such as short essays, book reports, or biographies.

This website offers updates on the latest news through NASA. It also offers information on educational topics, education for kids, public events, and space missions. This is a good resource for teachers to use in order to enhance their lesson plans and catch up with the latest news in NASA and space missions.

This website offers blogs, videos, core concepts, magazines, groups and special reports about astronomy. This is a great website for teachers to use to gain information on current events and new ideas for their lesson plans.

This website offers a great variety of lesson plans for teachers at all grade levels. I chose a lesson from this page for Tuesday’s portion of the lesson in my lesson plan. This is a quick and easy way for teachers to get new ideas and create new lesson plans for their classrooms.

This website offers astronomy for students and kids of all ages. This is a free astronomy resource designed to teach children about the exciting world of outer space. It includes many interactive games that can help students learn.

This website provides fun printables for space sciences. Teachervision.com also provides lesson plans, rubrics, quizzes, and other materials teachers can use in the classroom. There is a wide variety of information to choose from. This was helpful when making the Vocabulary Quiz.
